The realization that even after everything you’ve been through, there is still life in you. Still strength. Still colour.
Created over more than 48 hours, Resurface is my largest original drawing to date and one of my most expressive pieces.
The vivid movement of colour against the darkness represents what can remain inside us even through the hardest seasons — the parts of ourselves that survive, change and eventually begin to rise again.
Resurface is not about returning to who you were.
It’s about becoming who you are after everything you survived.
